KATHMANDU:- There is a possibility of partly cloudy to rainy weather in various parts of the country today. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division, it will be generally cloudy in the mountainous and hilly areas of Koshi Province, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces, and the rest of the mountainous areas this afternoon.
The division has stated that the hilly areas of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, including Madhesh Province, will be partly cloudy, while the remaining areas of the Terai will remain mainly clear.
Similarly, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain/snowfall with thunder/lightning in a few places in the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi Province, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces, and in one or two places in the remaining mountainous and hilly regions.
It is said that there is a possibility of a hot day in some places in the Terai region of Madhesh Province, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Provinces today.
Tonight, the mountainous region of the country, including Koshi Province, will be generally cloudy, the hilly region will be partly cloudy, and the Terai region will be mainly clear.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division has stated that there is a possibility of light rain/snowfall accompanied by thunder/lightning at a few places in Koshi Province, the mountainous and hilly areas of Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces, and one or two places in the mountainous areas of Karnali Province.
